I had the privilege of working with a prominent trauma researcher and conducting original research on posttraumatic growth during the early stages of this concept. This qualitative research involved an in-depth exploration of the narratives of numerous trauma survivors who had experienced forms of personal growth following their ordeals. I am grateful to those willing to share their stories in such detail, helping me discover the area of psychology that has captivated my interest ever since.
